Hi–I won’t be able to post tonight, because I am attending a craft program at our Library. But I would like to take this moment to say “thank you” to all of my readers and subscribers. I really appreciate you stopping by, and I appreciate hearing from you. So to say thank you, I am offering some antique marigold seeds to any subscriber who e-mails me with their address.
The special thing about these marigolds is that if you have ever had difficulty direct-seeding flowers because the seedlings are nibbled by critters, these don’t have that problem, and they grow fast. Wait until the soil is warm to sow, and give them full sun. The plants are about 1-1/2″ feet tall, with lacy foliage and small marigold flowers. The flowers are a mixture of orange and yellow and gold, which sounds screechy, but the lacy foliage tones it all down. At any rate, if you are a subscriber, and would like a small packet of seeds, please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org, including your address.
